Altered Beast - The Forums New Look

Over the next few days I will be spending sometime playing with the appearence of the forum, you may notice a few changes here and there, but rest assured I am doing these for the benefit of all.

Please bare with me.

I'd just like to point out that the neon (?) bars at the top are broken on wide monitors. It renders fine above the main forum container, and the side images render fine, but on wide displays there isn't any elastic image between them, and there's a big gap between the forum container and the side images. Want a screenie?

I have noticed this on my old netbook, which had a widescreen res of 1024x600, however, on my 22" 1680x1050 the image renders fine. What res are you using?

I'm also running 1680*1050. I shall put a screen up shortly.

I WAS getting this problem, whilst running the 9600GT on 1360x768, but now that im running the 3870HD it renders fine.

It would seem to be a problem for only some users. Odd.
I was thinking of a template change anyway, since the neon stuff is a little on the 'clubby' side imho.
However, since this template, like the others at my disposal come with the the forum software, I expect all the templates will have the same breaks.
I have tried my monitor at different resolutions on the forum, and I cannot replicate the breaks. Sorry!

Well if it counts for anything I'm using IE 8 on Windows 7 on an 8800GT.

Yes, I just ownt up to running IE. It's awesomely well integrated into the OS though so I shall stick with.
